Plastics recycling expo gathers pace as major organisers lend their support

upvc recycling expoPlastics Recycling Expo – Europe’s first exhibition and conference dedicated to plastics recycling – has attracted the support of two major organisations.
Both the British Plastics Federation (BPF) and Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) have pledged their involvement at the event, which takes place 18th and 19th June at the Telford International Centre.

For the BPF, the Expo offers an opportunity for showcase the UK’s rapidly growing expertise in plastics recycling. “The emergence of the new Plastics Recycling Expo is yet further evidence of a dynamic, innovative, plastics recycling sector in the UK and the BPF Recycling Group and its members are delighted to have been asked to support and participate in the event,” commented Roger Baynham, Chairman of the BPF Recycling Group.

The involvement of PRE lends the event a truly European perspective, something which PRE President Tom Emans believes is long overdue. “The European scene of plastics exhibitions was entirely lacking an event devoted to Plastics Recycling. This exhibition will strengthen the position of plastic recyclers and enhance their visibility on the plastics market in Europe. This event will embrace the whole value chain of plastics recycling and will give an exposure to new trends and new technologies within recycling.”

Designed specifically for plastics recycling professionals, the Plastics Recycling Expo will provide visitors and exhibitors with the opportunity to network with industry peers and discuss the future of plastics recycling with key decision makers.
